Monkeys
Happy Wednesday from an out-of-touch me, Mavis. I've emerged from the unknown to show what came in the mail. Inspector Beau checks first:
WOW! My very first blog prize! Last week (I think?) the always-entertaining Obstiknit Vegan issued the call to all prize seekers. With all the hubbub here, I completely forgot about it until the plump envelope came in the mail.
I have a bit of a soft spot for the Obstiknit Vegan because 1) she went through some yucky dental stuff and was wildly freaked-out about it -- which, of course, I can completely understand. Yes, I felt her pain. In fact, still do (but the ortho is coming along nicely, thank you very much).
Secondly, during the bad dental stuff, she was carefully and closely tended by her main squeeze. Please correct me if I got it wrong, Obstiknit, but I remember referring to him as your "Hero" in the comments and from then on it stuck.
So, this is why my prize is so very important. Here's another shot:
BTW, do you have any idea how hard it is to gauge where to point the camera for a shot like this?
So what is all this hubbub that keeps me away these days? What's that monkey on the ladder doing. We're opening a store!
